Become a self-employed vehicle delivery driver

Vale Vehicle Movements are currently in need of responsible vehicle delivery drivers to join our team.

The Company

Vale Vehicle Movements (VVM) have a fantastic opportunity for self-employed plate drivers to join their team. VVM have been successfully delivering prestigious logistic solutions since 1995 and are recruiting across the UK to support their continued growth.

They offer a sustainable, reliable and flexible sub-contract driving position based from your home address.

Full training is provided and they are committed to giving drivers support 24/7 through their dedicated team of experienced logistic controllers.

The Job

You will collect and deliver vehicles with trade plates from various locations across the UK, including auction sites, private addresses, dealerships and blue chip company locations. Travelling between deliveries and collections will require utilising a mix of public transport, plating and lifts with other drivers.

In general you will take a vehicle home most nights, where you will need a secure off road parking space such as a driveway to store, before delivering early the following morning.

You’ll be driving a wide variety of vehicles from brand new prestige cars to light commercial vehicles. The provided mobile phone has the inspection application built in and allows the work to be uploaded to the head office in Bromsgrove. This also enables live tracking so the controllers are able to proactively help coordinate drivers to work together.

A full liveried uniform is supplied and is required to be worn, this enables VVM drivers to portray a professional image when meeting clients. You will need to have a confident professional approach to customer service to succeed in this position.

You are looking for a customer facing role that enables you to travel extensively around the UK. You will need to be a proactive, self-motivated and a reliable individual who is capable of navigating around the country by car, public transport as well as plating when necessary.

The Driver

You are over 25 (for insurance purposes) and have held a full UK licence for at least 2 years with no more than 6 penalty points (and have no serious existing convictions, i.e. IN10, DR10 TT9). You must have off road parking/driveway.

On average new drivers can expect to earn between £1300 and £1500 per month and are offered the option of fortnightly or monthly payments.

This can increase with time as your experience grows. There is no need to create invoices as a self-billing facility is operated.

Generous bonus incentives including a £250 referral scheme for new drivers (who complete 4 full weeks).

Freedom from the office desk – a different view everyday…..
